It’s amazing that we’re now into May and it will be just as busy as April with plenty of celestial turns and twists along with the aftermath of intense solar flares having bombarded our planet. Generally CME’s (coronal mass ejections) that aim toward earth are shielded from impact though right now they’re filtering through cause concern for satellites, GPS, radio and other technological signals possibly being disrupted. These storms also affect humans in varying ways from tension to neurological.

The Sun and Mercury retrograde are conjunct in Taurus on Monday at 7:28 PM ET heightening mental sharpness and giving strong impulse to connect with others. What you do and say and where you go seems more important.

On Thursday Venus and Neptune square is influential all week calling for careful understanding of how interactions are being played out and a need to seek understanding. Beguilement and charm could turn out to be superficial so take your time before becoming involved to be sure all is as it seems. A key is distortion.

The Full Moon in Scorpio Lunar Eclipse with on the same day Venus sextile Jupiter that’s part of the solar-lunar eclipse axis and is a strong reminder of everything about the external of money and valuables combined with the inner sense of values and worth. As April closes we may pause to review, although the flurry of celestial activity is still in effect that this week has two major angles that help sort through what has unfolded so far.

On Tuesday the Taurus Sun is sextile Saturn in Pisces that’s not only positive itself but also the elements Taurus being earth and Pisces being water also creates a blend of positivity and comfort. You can find beneficial ways to center and ground.

The Quarter Moon in Leo on Thursday can feel intense due to the fixed fire sign of Leo pushing you to see where you need to establish some type of order relating to your personal strengths and ideals.

The second major angle is on Saturday which is Mars in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus in two harmonious elements, Cancer being water and Taurus is earth that further helps to harmonize your energy for a nice way to balance and manage your life.

Mercury is still retrograde in Taurus until May 14 creating a need to focus on monetary matters and your inner sense of worth and how you value aspects of your life depending on where the retrograde has landed in your birth chart. It’s more influential because of its close alignment with the recent hybrid solar eclipse.

The solar system is abuzz with activity as the Sun moves from Aries into Taurus, there’s a Solar Eclipse, a New Moon, and Mercury goes retrograde! After last week of rest and repose it’s now time to be sync with very busy heavenly activity that within holds opportunity for beginnings based on new perspectives.

On Thursday is the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in the last degree of Aries that sensitizes where Aries governs in your birth chart. It’s good to check where the last degree, 29:50, falls for more specific insight for the next 2-3 months that area of your life is activated. There’s a call for greater independence and taking the initiative pertaining to your goals and aspirations and it’s good to contemplate what holds meaning for you and how you might positively manifest in those areas more fully. The New Moon begins the two week cycle until the next Full Moon that will also be a lunar eclipse on May 5.'

Mercury retrogrades generally three times a year and approximately for three weeks each
time that this week begins on Friday in the earth sign Taurus reminding you of everything relating to money, income and other aspects of what you consider valuable. This year all Mercury retrograde cycles are in the earth element (of the four being earth, fire, air and water) that creates a reality economics. Until May 14 it’s good to reconsider expenses, investments in general with a slant on worth and flexibility so that you don’t lose or squander what you have. Your sense of yourself is also being called to notice as an aspect of self-worth and where you invest time and energy.

During this waning lunar tide are subtle stirrings about matters of the heart as Venus forms two direct angles to Pluto and Saturn just after entering the sign of Gemini.

The trine of Venus to Pluto on Tuesday is strong, resonating all week in areas of seeing more fully your sense of how you relate to others, especially who and what you love and your feelings about close relationships. Pluto is about transformation that can be part of the energy as you process your connections to others and also how you create. Creators of art and music are especially motivated to strive farther toward ideals and ways to birth that phenomenal reality. How and why you love someone or something is also strengthened calling for you to gain understanding. The atmosphere is magnetically charged.

Venus square Saturn on Friday prompts learning more about boundaries that could manifest in the form of obstacles, delays, and other blocks of social life and relationships. Someone could become problematic while plans and the overall social dynamic experiences challenge. We’re fully under the rays of the ultra rare Hybrid Solar Eclipse on April 20 at 29:50 Aries that’s the last degree of the sign so considered “critical” in that the degree is intense. The force of choice is rapidly manifesting.

Right now the Full Moon in Libra in opposition of the Sun in Aries peaks on Thursday at 12:34 AM which is the lunar placement that determines when Easter arrives is about understanding your own individuality. Until then is great for building, implementing what you’d like to build upon and focusing on how you want to work with your individual identity for the remainder of the year. From that point on you can work within your feelings and dreams what you want to fulfill.

Monday brings Mercury in Taurus where it’s active until June 11 that’s a very long stay due to the extra time that Mercury is retrograde from April 21 to May 14. This long transit is helpful for harmonizing how you network with others from casual acquaintances to deeply important relationships.
