The Sun is moving to form 3 major angles late this week to Mercury, Uranus, and Saturn. As well, Mars trine Neptune Thursday creates intrigue; on Friday Mercury trine Uranus helps communication. All this is unfolding as the lunar tide rises to a Full “Super” Moon in Aquarius Sunday. The week began with the Moon and Saturn Occult making a bit of emotional intensity that will continue. Energy rises, people feel compelled to react, sometimes overreact, and overall the concept of discernment holds significance.

Today and tomorrow the Sagittarius Moon provides an easygoing time or eases what is going on in the mind. Lunar angles to the planets bring in the reality that there are answers out there, or in there, here and just around the corner. In the bigger scheme of embracing awareness the overall weekly pattern leading to the Aquarius Super Moon on Sunday is that it just may be easier now to see the importance of finding commonality and where one may connect so that positivity and peace grows. To find a common bond with others of like mind settles a lot of energy rather than the “me versus thee” attitude. To think there is strength in division is an old way of thinking just as Newtonian physics are not quite the reality of today. The more there are on the same wave that is helpful, loving and positive the greater that kind of spirit fills this dimension. To promote something in positive ways allows peace, while to promote something through negative means damages the very thing being honored.

Meteor activity increases as Earth plunges deeper into the debris stream of Comet Swift-Tuttle, the annual Perseid meteor shower. Last night NASA cameras recorded more than a dozen Perseid fireballs along with one sporadic bolide (exploding meteor) that might have dropped pieces of itself over the southeastern USA.

Happy Neptuna'lia Day - July 23rd

Happy Neptuna’lia Day! Celebration of the Roman God Neptune. In astrology Neptune governs Pisces and is the 8^th planet in our solar system that sometimes has a lopsided orbit rather than in a direct line with the others. Right now it’s transiting its own home sign so well placed. Neptune governs the oceans, and not surprising Florida, the film industry, higher creativity of arts, mesmerism, telepathy and the spirit realm so spirit communication (mediumship) falls under its domain. As with all planets there are hundreds of things that fall under its domain. The symbol is a trident seen in depictions of the God. In Greek mythology his correlation is Poseidon.

…MONDAY-SCORPIO MOON OCCULTS SATURN…

It’s Chocolate, Strawberry Sundae; Father-Daughter Take a Walk Together, Global Forgiveness and Tell Truth Day. That’s a lot! Imagine there are other noted designations but celebrating all this should take us into tomorrow.

★Today the Moon occults Saturn. This sounds mysterious and it somewhat is as it’s a bit like an eclipse but instead of the Sun and Moon eclipsing, the Moon eclipses Saturn, meaning it moves into a position to obscure it’s view. Astrologically this has significant meaning that I talk about in detail in the column this week. Along with the end of the week Capricorn Full Moon makes the days under a Saturn influence since Saturn rules Capricorn. From today until Saturday the lunar tide rises giving you an opportunity to stretch where before while Mercury was retrograde and other factors you were in a crunch. Getting plans underway and building foundations are positive actions.
