IMBOLIC, February 1 into February 2 and a calendar date of February 3 is the midway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox celebrated in many countries as a turning of the seasons and nature. Right now all planets are direct (none retrograde and the Moon is growing full to peak in Leo on February 5. It’s a religious day including Pagan celebrations of feasting and reverence for life on planet Earth. This Quarter Point is about a return to light from the Sun as we begin to experience more daylight hours. This is a great time for reflection and planning and connecting to aspects of the world you feel affinity that may be oceans, forests, mountains, and so on. Animal life is a primary part since they’re the major part of life happening even if many of disconnected and unaware. A powerful way to attune to the planet and universe is to connect to an element – fire, air, earth or water and also animals. Trees are evermore resonating with wisdom and a plea to hear them. They tend one another and even send remedies through roots to other ailing kin. If only taking time to commune with a tree you’re embracing a great aspect of life.
