ATTUNING TO SACRED SITES

(A few notes from my recent workshop.)

Most cannot travel across the world to visit Stonehenge, the pyramids of Egypt, Easter Island, or the many sacred places throughout the world, although these places continually resonate energy that can be accessed from wherever you are, to gain knowledge, wisdom, healing, and a multitude of gifts and blessings. The sites are links that connect the earth to the stars and other dimensions and you are also connected through your spiritual and ancestral heritage to them.
Everyone is drawn to specific places for very different reasons.

• Other lifetimes
• Healing
• Wisdom and knowledge
• Change and evolvement
• Other lifetimes
• Ancestry
• Celestial
• Even uneasiness is a type of affinity. If you feel unsettled about a place then you are tapping into a fear that could be from any source
• Something or someone in your future

Reasons aren’t always known but we just want to go, as in the movie, Close Encounter of the Third Kind, where the man was compelled to go on faith. That concept isn’t original because it’s a story told many times throughout history, where someone has felt drawn to specific places. The word "encounter" fits well to the reasoning behind the impulse.
It can also happen that something about a place comes to you. Someone brings you a token or gift from a place, or you experience synchronicities about a specific place.
Other types of energy spots are labyrinths, cemeteries, churches and temples, and anywhere there is a designated place that is only for that specific purpose of reference. Counter to that are places that are negative and haunted. Toxic energy can accumulate. Example: sacrifices; violence; dogma gone rogue.
Synchronicity is part of the energy of sacred sites which is why reactions aren’t always blissful or as anticipated. Change is automatic, as explained in the Natural Law of Reaction, so what is the energetic resonance with the specific site is what is activated within you.
Ways to connect: meditation; visualization; contemplation through asking questions when you are thinking about a specific place. Your spirit guides, and other encounters, will give you information and entities connected to the sites will also connect with you. The nature of a place is also activated and connects – the climate, animals, and nature energies such as all life forms.
What you need and want to grow and evolve happens: wisdom; awareness; healing; direction for your life begins to change once you are connected. Enriched purpose and meaning for your life emerges.
