Cecil the Lion was Savagely Killed

There are many daily atrocities happening to animals and anytime someone steps up to champion any of them is a true blessing as is Jimmy Kimmel for his commentary about the lion, Cecil who was slaughtered. He was shot with an arrow that didn't kill him so he was tracked for two days and then killed, skinned and his head cutoff. It's illegal to kill animals in the park where Cecil lived and he was a national treasure so the men/savages lured him out. The dentist, Walter Palmer has been fined in the past for killing. Hunting isn't the issue - in my opinion, in agreement with Jimmy Kimmel, is that there is something wrong with someone who has a need to kill for entertainment. I saw this morning on the national news that Cecil had cubs, now in peril if a new alpha comes in as they could be killed. Hopefully, the park where Cecil lived will be able to help protect them. You can see an array of photos of Walter Palmer with other animals he's killed on the Internet. Those who help him and the others like him, including the women who support such actions are equally as guilty of the crimes.

It's encouraging that so many have shown such humanity which is a declaration of hope in a continual sea of animal abuse. Dr. Walter Palmer may be the new poster boy for aberrant sectors in society. You can read about Palmer's history by doing a search for
"Walter Palmer dentist" who lives in Minnesota. His wife is Tonette Palmer, 56, born Tonette Elizabeth Jensen in April, 1959.

I hope to hear what will happen since he's back in the US and may think he won't be accountable. It would be good to see him forced to return to Zimbabwe to face charges and the prison term. He escaped imprisonment after illegally killing a bear. Photos are easily seen online of his other killings - one is him beside a dead rhino. I hope justice will be served. Of course, all the death threats are not likely to happen and I'd like to see him go through the judicial system and be further exposed for what he is, and also hope it's realized he is one of many. It's interesting to think about him now being in hiding and feeling hunted. I have no sympathy for him or anyone who supports him. I also wonder what kind of woman would be attracted to that kind of person. The battle cry of those types are that they love them. That furthers the question - what's to love about someone so depraved? What could be appealing? What is so tragically wrong with a woman that she chooses to be with someone so savage? I'm not referring to abusive marriages and abused women, I'm referring to those who have no morals or scruples and don't care what happens to others or animals. There's gratification for them too in the killings. What a peculiar lifestyle they must have that is void of genuine feelings and true love. They may be drawn to those men and may be excited by them but doubt that could be called love. There must be a thrill for them in the same way as the killers have when they hunt down an innocent animals.

One more thing...when Cecil was flushed out and in the open they put a spotlight on him for Palmer. Commonly, psychopaths operate within the law and don't think they have a problem.
