I saw a cartoon that showed 2 people
sitting on a bus - on one side a sad unhappy person with the scene outside the
window darkness, and on the other side a smiling person looking out onto a sunny
bright scene with the caption of, “Every single day you make a choice.” That’s the
kind of shaming thing adds to the misery in the world and for someone who may
accidentally see it and suffering, it is another shunning that creates further
isolation. It's shame based and ignorant. If life was that simple most of us would be healthy and wealthy. Yes, I know the principle of the message that's about choice, but it's out of context and isn't that the point, that it's out of context? It doesn't help someone feeling like the person on the left. That kind of stupidity should be a clue when you decide who to see
for counsel or any other assistance. To learn how to be empowered is wonderful yet the New Age platitudes are sometimes like bullying. Take comfort in knowing you're not alone and that there those in spirit who are with you and want to help, heal and guide you toward wholeness.
