August 2012-Venus & Mars Midmonth

Mercury is direct after 3 wks of giving a sense of going backward and experiencing convolution. Venus is now in Cancer for a few week leading everyone to a greater sense of personal purpose relating to family and matters of security. 

Wednesday, August 15 is a day when both Venus and Mars form complex angles to Pluto and Saturn making it a time to be cautious and methodical in relationships and socially. Think carefully about your desires and what you truly want.

From the Dog Days of summer to the Harvest Moon at the end of September these next three months are filled with signals about the mysteries of the universe and a clear practical road map to light the way along your own path.

Many tout Mercury retrograde, the next being July 14 to August 8, as a time of concern but it is beneficial if you know what it means and how to best utilize the energy. There is a higher likelihood of miscommunication and misdirection with travel and ideally it is best to avoid signing major contracts or beginning anything significant though it is a wonderful time to reorganize anything and everything. It is best to be thorough and methodical when planning to lessen potential errors. Double check your emails and anything written before sending, read details of commitments and be flexible en route.

A wonderful Blue Moon happens August 31 that will shine brightly in the night sky over North America triggering awareness of mystical aspects of nature and is a wonderful reminder that there is something special in the air this time of year as we approach a change of seasons. There are other technical definitions of what a blue moon is but generally it is the second full moon in a calendar month. Being in Pisces makes it an especially wonderful time to meditate and commune with the spirit realm.

Of the many wonderful cosmic events the Autumn Equinox September 22 is a powerful earth energy day. This turning point when day and night are equally balanced and the Sun enters Libra stirs the planet and all life as fall begins and recognition that it is time to prepare for the winter ahead. Further creating a mystical time is the late night Harvest Moon September 29 in Aries reminding you of your place in the world and your own individuality and the reality that you are the steward of your own destiny. All these cosmic messages are roadmaps that shine light your potentials.

May 4 Scorpio Full Moon

Venus is at its greatest point north in an 8 year cycle that will not return until May 7, 2239 and then at an even higher point in 2263.

Today the moon enters Scorpio heading to full tomorrow night. This is a powerful time reminding one of the deepest and profound aspects of life. The cycle is laden with significance. Meditations can be deeper, answers more in-depth and realization almost haunting.

Happy Spring (Fall for my friends down-under)! Officially began at 1:25 AM when the sun entered Aries making this a major day for planetary shifting. It is a quarter point between the summer and winter solstices. Consider it a turnig point for making decisions, adjusting from when has been and where you want to be. Let your goal be the solstice point in June to have as a timeline for fulfilling goals. Refine, review, meditate, visualize and initiate something within the time from Mar 22 to April 4. This is the day to connect with nature, the elements, the earth an heavens and your heart.

March 2, Mercury in Aries

Mercury is in Aries for longer than the usual 3wks due to its retrograde motion beginning March 12. It will be in Aries again April 16-May 9. From today until March 23 while in Aries communication is sensitized especially due to the close alignment to Uranus that can make conversations unpredictable. Things happen fast so watch the roads, take you time and be on the alert. During this time you may have interesting flashes that solve problems, bring new ideas and clairvoyance. The third eye and chakra point opens and closes quickly. Now you see it – now you don’t! : )
