While mental health took a strange turn and is almost nil in effectiveness or awareness, it should be a natural process and readily available as should counsel in schools. So many think it’s a stigma of deficiency and a flaw if a child has the need of a secondary person (psychologist) to help them sort out their confusion and traumas. It’s easy for children to be caught in a scattered living dynamic because of busy and hurried schedules. With many divorced parents, children live in blended, or not so blended worlds of two environments where other relationships of parents easily changes how children see themselves. They are of a different era with different planetary angles that is part of present generations of children where they adapt to the different ways of life along with fast technology as a natural part of their lives. Still, it’s helpful for children to be grounded in security and nurturing.

Mercury is in Gemini for an extended stay beyond its usual 3wk transit. As the planet ruler of Gemini it’s in a nice place to benefit all communication and networking, plans and travel. 

Today is May Day, celebrated for a variety of reasons from honoring workers to pagans celebrating spring and a saint’s feast day. Astrologically it’s a quarter point between the recent Spring Equinox and the upcoming Summer Solstice (opposite seasons for the Southern Hemisphere). We’re now underway with the Aries New Moon that yesterday began a 2wk cycle of growth and greater ability to take the helm and have the initiative for advancing in your own specific direction. We now have Pluto in retrograde motion which slowly shifts several areas of what has been firm security and foundations to either return to a previous established mode or a few things will begin to unravel and need restructure in general. This will affect governments and corporate direction in the same way. What seemed definite isn’t exactly so.
