"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." – Aristotle
Even though at the time of this publication Easter has come and gone, there’s a lingering and strongly resonating energy about the concept and history of the resurrection. Many seem more interested this year about ideas of rebirth, renewal and moving forward into newness. The weariness of the world looms, being kept prominent with continual media “news” and pontifications that as well calls for sorting through fact from fiction and where to rest into a trustworthy reality. At the end of this week, on Sunday is the New Moon in Taurus that will help to find ways to settle into a more peaceful life especially if you establish your priorities of meaning and purpose over trying to keep pace with the outside world. All week while the lunar tide diminishes it’s about going within and embracing inner feelings. Midweek the Taurus Sun will square Pluto in Aquarius creating that very need – to keep your priorities in good order and not be pulled into any volatile situations. Taurean energy is about more than money and opulence but also about self-worth and values that is part of this time of resurrection. It’s not about what matters but also why something matters. Venus and Saturn connect in Pisces that spiritually grounds and is a reminder of the weight of your spirituality in the mix of life. Toward the end of the week, Mars in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius creating tension and a need to be mindful of where you put your energy and how you respond to pressure. In some instances people will rethink much before making decisions which is good as its follow the New Moon when actions are best initiated. Introspection and self-realization is a theme to think about.
