Mercury is direct (at last!)

Mercury is direct as of today after a 3 week cycle that was compounded by the lunar eclipse. We all have a breathing space as we enter the new year.

I'm studying the coming solar eclipse in January and will be writing about it.

Hope you are enjoying the weekly column at shirleymaclaine.com - so many ask me about daily cosmic events and phenomena and I refer them there because it is detailed with extensive information.

Classes are on break until January 9. Thank you to all the students who each add something special to the group.

Wishing all a safe and happy holiday season and very special Happy New Year.

Mercury on the Move - Proceed with Caution

Monday, Dec 13, 7:00 PM EST til Wednesday, Dec 15, 10:00AM EST take care while traveling. Avoid confrontational people and volatile conversations. Mercury is angling harshly to other planets in the solar system – Uranus, Pluto and Mars plus Mars conjuncts Pluto at 11:13 PM Monday night making everything too intense. Better to be safe than risk anything.

Thank you to all the student who braved the rain and cold to attend my class last evening! You are great! We have one more class before the holiday break. See you next Sunday.
I'm setting up a student page on my website for students to access where there will be notes and information that may be downloaded. I'll send you an email with password as soon as it is set to go.

My weekly column, Your Celestial Compass, is on line now at: http://www.shirleymaclaine.com

Dec 5 - New Moon in Sagittarius

Moon in Scorpio/in Sagittarius at 12:59 PM heading toward the New Moon in Sagittarius Sunday at 12:36 PM EST.

Tomorrow is a nice day for beginnings and also a powerful day due to Mercury conjunct Pluto at 8:18 PM.

I'm happy to be starting the first of seven astrology classes with so many wonderful students already signed up! It is on-going with breaks for the holidays. Thank you to everyone who have graciously signed up in advance.

Wonder how many are all that prepared for the holidays? There is an eclipse December 21 on the Winter Solstice and the first day the Sun is in Capricorn - will be writing about it next week.

Also, Mercury is retrograde for three weeks beginning December 10.
